Beschreibung der Module:
This module demonstrates the most basic process from sample introduction to mixing of a sample with a reagent and detection, by using a chip with Y-shaped internal channels. The sample is introduced to the chip by an ultra-small peristaltic pump and, after metering the volume in accordance to the length of the channels, transported and mixed with the pre-filled reagent by a pair of electro-osmotic pumps together. The flow is controlled by ultra-small valves. The chip is intended to be disposable and can be easily fastened by the plate.
In a reagent loading demo-module, a fixed volume of reagent is sucked from a reagent bottle and injected into a chip by a pen-type syringe pump combined with an ultra-small inert 3-way solenoid valve.
Both demo-modules are small with outer dimensions of 40 x 50 x 125 mm facilitated by our ultra-small components.
