Bonded Plastic Chips
A range of chips made by bonding precision-molded plastic
plates is available, offering competitive prices in mass
production quantities. The minimum channel size is 50?m
square. Channel pattern can be freely designed. A choice of
material COC (cyclic olefin copolymer), PMMA (acrylic) and PS
(polystyrene) is available. These materials all exhibit excellent
optical characteristics.

Bonded PTFE Manifold
- This is a 100% PTFE manifold, with internal channels made by the
bonding of two layers of modified PTFE. Due to excellent chemical
resistance, this product is compatible with a wide range of fluids.
- Highly integrated manifolds with freely curving channels that could
not be fabricated through the conventional drilling process are now
made available.
- Bonding is achieved through the use of a special technique that does
not use adhesive, so the channels are absolutely contamination-free.
The bonding method is highly reliable such that the bonding surfaces
are unified so well that the point of joining can be hardly
distinguished.

The Film Manifold is small, lightweight and made by engraving
precise channels in layers of bonded chemically-inert Polyimide
(PI), Polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) etc.

Applications include cross-flow filtration and surface chemistry reactions. It can be supplied with a liquid-liquid separator chip, contacting or custom chip design.
