2 Position - N/O Poppet Type
WHAT IS IT? This is a 2-position, three-way, poppet type Solenoid Valve. It is compatible with all petro-chemical fuels and hydraulic fluids and, with suitable elastomer material, can be compatible with the synthetic oils. The design permits the Valve to be completely submerged in the working fluid. This allows for installation deep within a fuel or hydraulic manifold occupying what otherwise may have been wasted space and giving a "clean" look to the package. The "pig-tail" leads can be replaced by a connector if required. All ferro-magnetic surfaces are Electroless Nickel plated for corrosion prevention. The Coil is the "Bifilar" Type which provides for radio frequency noise suppression.

2-Way Proportional Metering Valve
WHAT IS IT? This is a Linear Proportional 2-way SERVOID® Metering Valve suitable for use with either liquidous or gaseous media. It contains a rare earth (Samarium Cobalt) permanent magnet which establishes a level of energy and readiness to react linearly with the application of an external electrical (current) signal.
The design features a dry coil and all "wetted" surfaces are wither stainless steel or nickel plated. Hardened steel poppets and seats are used to ensure durability, increase insensitivity to contamination and prevent calibration drift due to seat deformation typically associated with high cycle life applications using "soft" seats or poppets.

Diverter Valve
WHAT IS IT? This is a linear proportional, three-way blending or diverting SERVOID® Valve. The unit has three ports. In the diverter mode, the Valve will split a supply flow into two flows, the mass ratio of which will be in proportion to the current applied to the SERVOID® Controller. In the blender mode, the Valve will control the mixture ratio of two fluids, again, in direct response and in proportion to the signal to the Controller. Total flow from the valve is a constant at a given pressure drop across the unit.

Manifold Type - Fuel N/C
WHAT IS IT? This is a very simple, 2-way, plug-in type Solenoid Valve. It was designed for economy but retains its aircraft quality. The Coil is a low voltage D.C. winding. The Armature contains an elastomeric "button" that engages a conical seat in the anodized aluminum Body. All ferro-magnetic materials are plated for corrosion protection. The design is very compact and weighs but 2¼ ounces. The Coil is sealed and the Body staked into the Solenoid Assembly. It is not economical to overhaul this unit. It's less expensive to replace it with a new one. Handling and shipping costs surpass its price. Yet it has the quality and reliability of Valves costing three and four times as much in like quantities.

Mixing and Metering Valve
WHAT IS IT? This Assembly is made up of two independent SERVOID® Valves which, when driven separately by synchronously, blend two gases to a desired ratio and deliver the blended gases at a desired flow rate and frequency from a common outlet. Maximum flow per Valve is 200 liters per minute @ 10 psid. Each side will shut off and control leakage to less than 50 cc/min. @ 10 psid. The operating pressure range is from 15 to 100 psig. The units are sufficiently accurate and consistent, cycle to cycle, valve to valve, that the drive current level is a very reliable indicator of mass or volumetric flow. The Valve's hysteresis is less than 4% F.S., repeatability less than 0.5% F.S., and response better than 40 Hertz. The curve on the reverse side is typical of either circuit. Resolution, particularly in the low flow range, is quite good. It has a turn-down ratio of 4000:1.

Proportional Flow Control Valve
WHAT IS IT? This is a proportional flow control valve operated by a linear proportional SERVOID® driver. The driver is used to regulate a variable orifice which controls flow to the outlet port. By infinitely varying the orifice size, the flow can be regulated throughout the full range from minimal flow up to maximum rated flow.
The SERVOID® driver is the "intelligent" portion of this assembly, enabling the valve to provide infinite variability. The proven SERVOID® technology offers precise control and repeatability throughout its range, while simultaneously providing extraordinarily linear output. The valve is useful for a wide range of viscosities and fluids due to the knife edge variable orifice.
